JAMIE McMURRAY
Retired / Broadcast TV Race Analyst
JAMIE McMURRAY’s nickname is “Big Mac” and not because he has long been associated with primary sponsor McDonalds. It is that McMurray has a knack for winning big races, including three of the most coveted - the Daytona 500, Brickyard 400 and All-Star Race. And in 2015, he joined racing legends AJ Foyt and Mario Andretti as the only drivers to have ever won the Daytona 500 and the most prestigious endurance race in the United States, the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Now retired from racing full-time, Jamie McMurray exploded onto the NASCAR scene in 2002 when he scored a win in just his second-career NASCAR Cup Series start. Jamie was always a threat for the pole and race win every time he got behind the wheel and was widely considered one of the most adept at racing the superspeedways. He’s also considered one of the fittest drivers on the circuit. In fact, the dedicated family man, excels as much in road cycling as he does driving.
